Help your child gain practice in sorting and sequencing. Place a handful of different size buttons on the table and ask your child to arrange them from smallest to largest. For additional practice, group the buttons according to given criteria, such as size, color or number of holes. Ask her to figure out how the group is classified and add buttons that belong.
