Activity: Alphabet Drops

Write each letter of the alphabet on a paper plate (or print out a set of alphabet coloring pages), and have fun with the following activities (or make up your own!):

1. Arrange the letters on the floor (in alphabetical order, spelling out your child's name or even randomly) and have your child walk, hop or run from letter to letter as you call it out.

2. Hide letters throughout the room and have your child call out the letters she finds.

3. Make a letter worm or path from a set of alphabet drops.
