Magazines or books that feature animals, paper, colored markers or crayons
Time:
An entire morning or afternoon

Take a nature walk that concentrates on animals. Visit a local zoo, or take a walk and take along magazines or books that feature animals to look through. Help your child make a list of animals seen on the trip. Divide the lists into two categories: animals that live on land and those that live in water. Invite your child to draw pictures of the different animals.
