Your baby is learning from looking at your face everyday. In fact, your face is probably her favorite thing to look at! Prepare her for learning about emotions by showing her what they look like on your face and naming them. Watch her try to mimic your facial expressions as she grows. Get yourselves in front of a mirror so she can see both your face and her own as she tries out new faces.

Show your baby a face for each of these words:
Happy
Sad
Mad

As your baby grows, add more faces:
Surprised
Yummy
Funny
Scared
Curious
Excited
